20th birthday celebration.......

Zacheri and Emily.  Notice the card says "Birthday Girl".  Guess who that's from!
So 20 years ago, February 20th, at 6:33pm on a Wednesday evening...Mr. Zacheri Taylor Wheelbarger came into this world....weighing 8lbs 7 1/2 oz. 21 inches long.  He had dark dark hair. Beautiful...and perfect was the only way to describe him.  Today he is a grown man, 6'1 and ??? lbs!!!!  It's so unbelievable that they once can be so tiny and grow to be so big!  I'm so proud of that man he has become!!!!

We celebrated his birthday by meeting some of the KC family in Clinton, MO for lunch at Applebee's....so much fun!
L - R:  Barbara, Mom, Me, Cameron, Branon, Zacheri, Emily, Erin and Mike
Grandma provided us with a very nice birthday cookie cake!!
Cameron will NOT give  me a good picture - always the clown!
Everyone had to show us the "blue" from the icing!  Notice Erin (below)...she is getting into that icing!
But Branon showed us creativity by creating an icing plate - see the "20" in it!
It was a fun fun time!  Thank you everyone for helping us celebrate!
Happy Birthday my Zacheri!  You are a special young man!
I love you!

Honors Choir.......

Makalyn, along with 5 other students from the Bolivar Middle School were picked to sing with the South Central Missouri Music Educators 7th & 8th grade District Choir today at Evangel University in Springfield, MO.  There were 29 schools from our district represented along with 256 students.  The day started out with the students meeting at the University at 9....taking  one break and a lunch hour....some more rehersal and then the concert.  This was a very good concert!
Makalyn, Macey Hitchcock and Holly Ferrell

The director this year was Jason Huneycutt.  He is an Evangel Alumni and a member of Central Assembly in Springfield, MO.

Can you find Makalyn in this huge group of young people???????

She is on the top row - about 6 people over from the left.
Again, it was a great concert!  Cudo's to the school directors, to the director and to the kids - they did an excellent job.
